What is your defintion of beauty?

We all have different ideas on what the word "beauty" really means. To some it is the inner beauty of a person. To some it is only the physical beauty. To others, it is both.

This comes from a article I once wrote that I think fits here:
You to can be a show stopper!
"There are certain women who, upon entering a room, can stop a conversation in mid sentence. No matter the occasion, they command attention. It isn’t a matter of their wearing gorgeous gowns or impressive jewels. It’s all about their radiant smiles, and their inner confidence. No matter your age you, too, can stop traffic with just a smile.
Having confidence like that often starts when you are small and grows as you grow. Beauty is a state of mind with confidence backing it up. Every one can be beautiful as their serene confidence shines out from within. Don’t compare yourself against those you see on the silver screen - they have to be that way because it’s a job but it’s not their way of life.
Your beauty is a part of you, it’s something you have created from within but without confidence, you shine a little less brightly. By building on your own confidence and sense of self worth, those actresses have nothing that can beat you!"

You can always tell something about a woman by the walk she walks into a room. If she is unsure of her self it will show in the way she comes into a room, quietly stays off to a corner and doesn't say much. If she walks in with her head held high and looks you right in the eye, then you got someone who is ver confidence in who they are.
Then there are those of us who take the world on by its balls and use the backbone our mothers gave us to use. Doesn 't matter your background, where you are from or who you are married to now. Its who you are that shines the most.
Once you decide that you will not take it any longer, will stand up for yourself and be the real woman on the outside as you are on the inside, looks don't matter any longer.

By now, as women in the workplace, we realize that there is a certain "standard" for presenting ourselves. Just as a man in business presents himself perhaps in a suit and tie, a good haircut, clean shaven, we as women do represent our self worth in the work place even if it is just our hair is well kept, and our clothing is work appropriate. I find in our business, that even a small amount of make up does give more confidence. But, what is your definition of beauty? Personally I believe it comes from within, but I do like to present myself well which makes me feel more confident as I go around in my daily life.
