Hi Elizabeth
Just wondering how you are going, as it has been a while since we last connected.
It's been very busy this end - looks like getting busier by the moment! All good though.
What's happening your end?

Well, the DIVA idea sounds great. However, I think you may have a bit of trouble doing that when I am so far away! Perth to NY is a bit of a stretch. But hey, if I come your way, I'll definitely look you up, Elizabeth.
On the mum front, just give yourself permission to hold her in your arms and embrace the warmth of the person that she was to you. I often do this. I just wrap my arms around me and imagine I'm giving her a huge big hug. I often talk to my mum, bizarre as that may sound. In fact, I was out at the clothes line (my best thinking place), hanging out the clothes and I said out loud, "I wonder what you would think of my life now, Mum?" I really miss having the opportunity to know if she would be proud of me and what I have done with my life, as I know that she had great plans for my life (like all parents!). :)
Elizabeth, they say that time heals all wounds and I think that time does in some ways ease the pain of our loss but it never really goes away. They are too precious to be forgotten!
Love you babe

That's wonderful, Elizabeth. A friend of my, Jennifer Palmer, here in Perth, is a hairdresser and I interviewed her for a magazine I worked on last year. In the interview she told me about her experiences working as a hairdresser in the Cancer Ward of a large hospital in Perth, Western Australia. Her stories moved me to tears because they were just that precious.
I lost my mother and my two grandmothers in the same year, so I understand how great the passing is, even though for them it is a blessing to be released from pain and suffering. My mother was killed in a car accident but had just learned that I had been sexually abused by a relative when I was a child, so it was a very difficult time for her. In a way, I felt it was God's kindness to her because she was really not coping well with the guilt she felt in relation to not protecting me. Feel free to send me a message if you ever need someone to talk to about your mum. I cried for a year and it was the best thing I could have done. I just kept remembering the training I had received at college about grief counseling and how a friend of the lady that was training us had died and her daughter had been so strong through it all, then committed suicide two years later because she did not allow herself to grieve. When Mum died I gave myself permission to go with whatever emotion I felt at the time. It was a real freedom and helped me to heal.
Take care, my new friend! My heart is with you.
Love

Make some new amazing friends, find inspiration. To learn , I Love to learn. And everything to me is a learning experience =)
Who do you think is the most inspirational woman you know or know of and why?
My Mother. She just passed away one month ago. She had soo many qualities that drove me to be the woman I am today.
About Me:
I am a 31 year old mother of 3 married , Stay at home mommy , Professional Make-up Artist who decided to create her own fabulous line of Cosmetics for the everyday woman and everyone in between. I am extremely passionate about what I do and how I can help everyone look and feel their absolute best!!
I enjoy writing and drawing. I love posting tips and tricks about beauty , I like to share all my ideas to help everyone look and feel Fabulous !

One of the things that I am really looking forward to is a project I am working on to bring beauty to women of all ages at hospitals & nursing homes. Knowing first hand what that experience has been with my mother staying at a nursing home, I know how pretty and beautiful she felt everytime I came in to doll her up. I want to give back to all those who are helping take care of my ailing mommy and to those who have lost themselves in their sicknesses. We all deserve to feel pretty and I think that is important that I help others achieve this.

I want all women from all over the world to share in look of beauty , it's amazing what a little lipgloss and mascara will do =)
