Just wondering how you are going, as it has been a while since we last connected.
It's been very busy this end - looks like getting busier by the moment! All good though.
What's happening your end?

On the mum front, just give yourself permission to hold her in your arms and embrace the warmth of the person that she was to you. I often do this. I just wrap my arms around me and imagine I'm giving her a huge big hug. I often talk to my mum, bizarre as that may sound. In fact, I was out at the clothes line (my best thinking place), hanging out the clothes and I said out loud, "I wonder what you would think of my life now, Mum?" I really miss having the opportunity to know if she would be proud of me and what I have done with my life, as I know that she had great plans for my life (like all parents!). :)
Elizabeth, they say that time heals all wounds and I think that time does in some ways ease the pain of our loss but it never really goes away. They are too precious to be forgotten!
Love you babe

I lost my mother and my two grandmothers in the same year, so I understand how great the passing is, even though for them it is a blessing to be released from pain and suffering. My mother was killed in a car accident but had just learned that I had been sexually abused by a relative when I was a child, so it was a very difficult time for her. In a way, I felt it was God's kindness to her because she was really not coping well with the guilt she felt in relation to not protecting me. Feel free to send me a message if you ever need someone to talk to about your mum. I cried for a year and it was the best thing I could have done. I just kept remembering the training I had received at college about grief counseling and how a friend of the lady that was training us had died and her daughter had been so strong through it all, then committed suicide two years later because she did not allow herself to grieve. When Mum died I gave myself permission to go with whatever emotion I felt at the time. It was a real freedom and helped me to heal.
Take care, my new friend! My heart is with you.

Really lovely to have you here. I am the Chairperson of Women Can International Inc, and I'm one of those people who live to help others in life, so feel free to call on me for any help or clarification while on this site. I hope you enjoy the company of women who want to get the most out of life. There are a lot of women with good attitudes here! Please feel free to post any questions you may have and we'll try and guide you. Also, I'd love to hear your thoughts on life, where you are at at the moment and where you are headed. That way I can do what I do best and help to put the right people in your pathway.
Kind regards
